😷 Face with Medical Mask

A yellow face wearing a white surgical or medical mask. Pre-pandemic, often used to express being sick with a cold or flu, or generally feeling unwell. Since 2020, widely used in reference to COVID-19 and the global pandemic, health precautions, and safety measures. May also represent medical professionals or hospital settings. On some platforms, the eyes appear slightly different (ranging from neutral to concerned to slightly smiling), which can affect the interpretation.
