🇸🇾 Flag: Syria

The flag for Syria, which may show as the letters SY on some platforms. As of April 2025, this emoji shows the flag of Syrian National Coalition (a horizontal triband of green, white, and black, with three red five-pointed stars on the white band) on updated Apple and Samsung devices, as well as within WhatsApp on Android. Other vendors are expected to follow suit in the future. Many other vendors still display this emoji as the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic (a horizontal triabnd of red, white, and black; charged with two green stars at the centre).
