Coral as found in a reef, of varying shapes and colors. Sometimes used as a symbol of climate change due to coral bleaching. Depending on the emoji keyboard being used, this emoji may appear among either animal or plant emojis. This variation notably resulted in criticism from social media users following the release of iOS 15.4, as corals are animals, not plants.
