🌹 Rose

A red rose. Depicted as a single, vertical red rose on a green stem. Commonly used for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and other special occasions. May be more generally used to express sentiments such as love and romance. Also commonly used as a symbol of socialism or as a red accent color. Across social platforms in 2025, this emoji began to be used as a positive counterpart to the 🥀 Wilted Flower emoji, as part of a Gen Z trend of chaotically swapping through different emojis to express various emotional states. Not to be confused with 🌷 Tulip, though their applications may overlap.
